For the LORD God is our light and protector. He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will the LORD withhold from those who do what is right.

Bible Text: Psalm 84:11

This is a simple spiritual principle. God is a God of righteousness and he rewards righteous. The bible says it shall be well with the righteous righteousness for he shall eat the fruit of his doings (Isaiah 3:10 ). When we walk uprightly it means we do those things that are pleasing and acceptable in the sight of God. And remember we are always in his sight.

For the Christian walking uprightly practically means to walk in love, for love is a summary of all of God’s commandments. Love is the new commandment we have received from God and in it is the fulfilling of all the laws. God is love and the more we walk in love the more we look like God and the more we please him. Walking in love is made easy by the Holy Spirit who has poured God’s love out into our hearts. And because we have been loved first by him, we can also express this love back to God and to others.

As you walk in love, God will not withhold anything good from you because God is not unrighteous to forget your labour of love.

Keep yourself in the love of God.
