Certification is aimed at validating the performance of delegates at the BBDP. Certificates are awarded to participants who have met certain criteria.
Accreditation on the other hand is designed to endorse individuals and bodies to organise and deliver BBDP. In general the various levels and types of certification and accreditation are:
Certified Ministry Worker | Anyone who has successfully completed the BBDP workers training |
Certified Instructor | Anyone who has completed the workers training and the Instructor’s module. They will be trained to deliver course modules. Some of them will specialise in specific subject areas. |
Accredited Associate | Anyone who has completed 1 & 2 plus some practical training on organisation development and management of the BBDP. They can plan and organise programmes for churches. |
Accredited BBDP Centres | This will normally be given to other organisations e.g. churches that want to be running the programme by themselves. |
Notes:
- Certification may involve written and oral interviews.
- Accreditation may involve, Facility Inspection and require at least 2 or more Certified Instructors.
